Whilst ceramic knives ( typically made from stabilised zirconia) have a much longer cutting edge life than conventional steel knives, they do eventually wear out and can often be chipped or damaged on the sharp edge. Unfortunately as they are very hard it is often extremely difficult to re-sharpen these knives yourself. At CATRA we offer a fast re sharpening service for all ceramic blades by mail order (normally same day turn round) The level of sharpness achived is as good if not better than when new, as your blades will be sharpened individually using the latest diamond technology and not mass produced as in the knife factory. We will also, sharpen away any small chips or nicks in the edge, however if these are very large please confirm you wish us to remove them as it may make the blade much narrower as a result
